Confusion and misunderstanding abound
I trip on my tonuge as well as my thoughts
What trips me up? What is
My stumbling block?
Rational thought, and
Twisted logic, keep me
From truths that are
In truth incomprehensible:
A single cell is
as awe inspiring as a black hole,
Dark matter, gravity,
Quantum entanglement, and
The beauty of a sunset,
A profession of love.
I fail to understand
How anyone could not believe
In something greater,
And fail still
Myself to grasp that
Belief except that
Something greater is.
And there that block is
Once again to trip me up
To send me stumbling,
Ever stumbling, yet
I hope,
Towards the horizon
And whatever
Lies beyond.

This is a poetic journey, nicely done. Also, I envy you your ability to believe. (from "Macoff," a fellow Dipper)...
