Since I do not want to turn into a grumpy old lady, I try to let annoyances roll right on by. That’s when I sing Let It Go from Frozen. But I really don’t like being overcharged or wasting money. I allow myself one parking ticket a year and I regularly save people from getting a ticket by showing them which meter to feed. I recently returned my cable tv box since the smart tv works great with just wireless internet. When I got my bill online, I called to ask for it to be recalculated. That’s when I was informed that they (Spectrum) do not prorate cable service. Too bad for me that I returned the box at the beginning of the billing cycle instead of near the end. I’m not a fan of helplessness so I tend to surround myself with people who are self sufficient. People who whine about not being able to figure things out drive me crazy. Yes, that would be my sister. All of these sound like petty annoyances that I’d be much better off if I would release them to the universe.

Oh, ho ho! I suppose there was no satisfaction (ultimately) with Spectrum. ARGH. As you say, though, it may be a petty annoyance. Depends on the amount of money lost. Having heard "Let It Go" sung too many times by children on online open mics, I can't say I would ever sing that, but I am glad kids, and you, have a song about that. In my life, I have realized that sometimes my response to a petty annoyance is about something larger, but I'm afraid to react to that something directly. In such a case, I allow myself the release of "wrath," even though it may seem like a stupid concern to anyone watching. I know what I'm doing. (Macoff)
