Daydream believer and a homecoming queen
All the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Dreeee eee eeam, dream, dream, dream, dream
All I have to do is dream
Dreamin’
I’ll keep on dreamin’
'Til my dreams come true
I want a dream lover so I won’t have to dream alone
So many songs about dreams, dreamers, and dreaming. My daydreams? My daydreams are simple now for the most part. Tasks of daily living made as pleasant as possible by being as simple as possible. See my sister throughout the year and my daughter is making sure that happens. Self-publish some children’s stories which seems doable at this point. Witness my adult children living their own lives.
Some dreams now seem tenuous. Keeping a representative democracy. Becoming genuinely inclusive in government and in society. Cleaning up the earth to keep it habitable. Stabilizing the Oxford comma as standard punctuation for words, phrases, and clauses in a series.
And why are their so many songs about rainbows and what’s on the other side?

Are there that many songs about rainbows? I'll have to keep an ear out! You personal dreams are achievable (yay!) and the ones you've given up on... I think we can all relate. Except...let's NOT give up on the Oxford comma! All it takes is for most of us who actually write...to keep using it! Of course you realize that when you write those lyrics at the very top, you are causing nostalgia-inducing music to play in the reader's head... (Macoff)
