Nels: Consignment

Contemning the practice of funerals -- the

Osmic quality of commentary is rank:

Noise emitted by people who don't know --

Sonneting it's not, or is inappropriately,

Intones platitudes, ridiculous ignorances:

Gnostic pretendings devoid of

Noetic subtlety or effort even. eg. Nels'

Minge-entitlement complex: never mentioned.

Emoting an utter insincerity if possible,

Nomen-priest -- what did they know of my brother?

Toeing some polite line? C'mon! Get real HERE.

  1. You are asking a lot from people who only want to do the customary thing. I've attended worse, or close to worse. Not of a close relative, though. This poem is the BEST for rare words, some of which I came close to already gnowing! But only close. Yay! (Macoff)

  2. I looked up some words. Still I think the rhythm and the lyrical nature of the words somehow convey the meaning, especially with those last lines
"what did they know of my brother?
Toeing some polite line? C'mon! Get real HERE."
