Yes, I owe debts, many debts. I am indebted to my ancestors all the way back to their beginnings in Ireland, Normandy, and Germany and who knows where else. I value all the sacrifices they made to feed themselves and each other, to heal from injuries and illnesses, to maintain dwellings and clothing and covers to stay warm. I am grateful for their adventurous natures or their desperation to survive that pushed them to travel west and west and west to their landing in the continent that came to house the North American colonies and the settlements of English, Irish, German immigrants. Thank goodness they learned to read, became successful at thinking and teaching, writing and farming. Where and when did they learn to play with their babies and children so that I inherited a great sense of humor and a personality that balances taking things too seriously and taking things too lightly. I have great debts to those whose lives through the centuries and recent decades created one little point of light and matter that is me. Thank you. Thank you, all!

I really love this sentence, I don't know why! "Thank goodness they learned to read, became successful at thinking and teaching, writing and farming." (from Macoff, fellow Dipper)
