Who are the wicked?

The idea of being wicked seems to be all about perspective. I don’t believe one sets out to be wicked or to gather other to do wickedness for the sake of being wicked. How unfortunate that would be. Rather I think wickedness comes out of fear. Fear that someone is doing something different or unknown. That thing then needs to be judged and compared. In that judgment and measurement, wicked thought and wicked words appear. I find people are quicker to find faults than see the beauty of opportunity. Instead of bringing the council of wicked, take a moment and always say the positive first. Wickedness is easy and allows the person to hold no responsibility for words and actions. Giving hope and encouragement requires support. It requires a relationship. That is where love lies. In giving council of hope. Pressing down and out the wickedness.

  1. I agree that it's all about perspective. It's complicated. Even good deeds can sometimes have "wicked" results over time. I'm not sure I saw your entry for Day 1; I'll look for it. I'm trying to read and comment on everyone's work in this "flock of Dippers." --- "Macoff"
