Marco Pagačnik says:
the new world is coming and
those who are awake to it will be embraced.
The rest of us? -- this hallowed, this
exquisite old world? --
what of us?
I don't need woo-woo
(you want to see how everything is connected, no need to
call on a spiritual realisation; look around! what fed you?) --
more than enough to care for
here and now.
I believe there is no better world
than this magnificent feast that
birthed everything in your life;
this fight is just and worthwhile.
My life in a moment for ...
Her and Her progeny.
Even if you'd say I'm asleep.

I like the connection between the 13th word and the last word. I do like this poem-- a concise expression of Joy-ism. Had to search that Marco guy. Wondering if you were once into it. (Macoff)
ReplyDeleteSomething in this poem washed through my muscles and there was relaxation and peace. What a gift to give another human being. Thank you!
