Time to hop off the roller coaster and catch my breath. The rest of my life will be slower due to age and eventual infirmity, but oh what a ride it has been!
Lately the ups and downs have been so intense. Death and birth and joy and heartbreak in rapid succession. Holding on white knuckled through the curves consumed all my strength.
Well, maybe not quite all. There's still time to try something new at the carnival of life. Right now the lazy river ride sounds perfect--a blissful, restful float. I'll let the current do the steering and see where it takes me.

Where can I get tickets for this lazy river ride? I think it embarked without me! I find myself on a sort of riding lawnmower ride, going around and around the same yard. HA. (Macoff)
